We are excited Roberto Thomas joined the Systems (L.A. Compact) Team as our new Administrative and Communications Coordinator in August 2024. In his role, Roberto is providing comprehensive project management and administrative support to drive the success of the team's diverse portfolios, encompassing K-12, postsecondary, and workforce initiatives.

Prior to joining UNITE-LA, Roberto worked in programs for The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank (LARFB) in conjunction with the Department of Public Health. At The LARFB, Roberto worked on nutrition education and food equity for L.A. County.

Roberto holds a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Drama from The University of Virginia.

Fun fact: Roberto is a huge fan of the arts and enjoys trying out new coffee flavors every weekend.
